History

Alligator’s history in immuno-oncology

In July 2026, Alligator discontinued independent drug development to concentrate on its financial interest in HLX22, an anti-HER2 antibody in global Phase 3 that is developed, funded and to be commercialised by Shanghai Henlius Biotech, Inc. This page summarises the research and development Alligator carried out before that decision. The information is kept for reference and is no longer updated.

Alligator today

Alligator is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm (ATORX). The company is entitled to 35% of AbClon’s revenues from Henlius relating to HLX22, including milestones and royalties, equivalent to an effective royalty of up to 1.75% of HLX22 net sales. Alligator neither conducts nor controls the HLX22 programme.

Our research

For more than two decades, Alligator developed antibody-based immunotherapies for cancer from its base in Lund. The work centred on tumour-directed immunotherapy, in particular agonistic antibodies targeting the CD40 and 4-1BB receptors, and on proprietary technologies for antibody discovery and bispecific antibody formats.
